Mitchell G. Mandell is the Senior Partner of Jacobs PC, where he also serves as Chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice and Chair of the firm’s Employment Practice. His litigation and trial practice focuses on the resolution of commercial disputes involving domestic and foreign businesses. Mr. Mandell is a seasoned attorney and trial lawyer with more than 37 years of experience handling commercial litigation, employment matters, and corporate transactions in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, investment and commercial banking, technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, venture capital, manufacturing, entertainment, and apparel. His clients have included Fortune 500 companies, foreign governments and dignitaries, investment banks, hedge funds, record labels, movie studios, high net worth individuals, medical research companies, and charitable organizations.
Mitch has extensive experience representing employers and senior executives in both public and private companies in a wide range of employment matters, including disputes over executive contracts and compensation, restrictive covenant litigation, wrongful termination, unfair competition, and trade secrets. His trial experience extends across numerous state and federal forums, as well as arbitration venues before FINRA. Due to his in-depth knowledge and experience in all aspects of employment law and his ability to adapt to clients' unique business needs, clients also look to Mr. Mandell for assistance in developing strategies aimed at reducing legal exposure. Mr. Mandell also counsels clients with respect to internal investigations and compliance with anti-harassment and discrimination laws.

He also sits on the advisory board of EqualAI, an organization focused on identifying and preventing gender bias, and encouraging diversity in the development of artificial intelligence.
Mr. Mandell has more than 30 years of experience advising Latin American companies and high net-worth individuals doing business in the U.S., and U.S. entities doing business in Latin America. This includes his time as a name partner in a firm located in Miami. His work in the region spans many countries, including Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Costa Rica.
Throughout his career, Mr. Mandell has often served as outside general counsel for companies in a number of industries, including charities and other non-profit organizations. He has guided many organizations through various stages of growth, helping them to raise and secure funding, draft shareholders or partnership agreements, address employee, labor, and intellectual property issues, and has also represented their interests in bankruptcy when necessary.
