Aaron Slavutin

Associate

Aaron Slavutin is a business litigator whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation under Chapter 11.

Aaron has experience representing debtors and other entities in out-of-court restructurings, Chapter 11 proceedings, and post-bankruptcy litigation. Aaron also has experience in cross-border insolvencies and Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA) liquidations across a range of industries, including chemical, energy, and financial services.

Prior to joining Jacobs, P.C., Aaron worked in the New York offices of several international law firms in their bankruptcy and restructuring groups. There, he gained both debtor and creditor experience that has proven invaluable for his current Chapter 11 clients. He also clerked for the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York and has experience serving as a certified financial advisor.
