Muriel Raggi has almost a decade of experience representing public companies, private entities and high net worth individuals in complex cases involving commercial litigation, white collar defense, and securities enforcement.
Muriel also maintains a robust pro-bono practice in which she has represented indigent defendants in a wide range of criminal matters in federal and state court, ranging from low-level street crimes like shoplifting to racketeering narcotic conspiracies and Hobbs Act robberies. Muriel has also represented victims of sexual assault in the military’s Court Martial process, indigent parents in Family Court custody proceedings, and refugees in navigating the asylum process. Muriel successfully obtained a pardon for a man who spent almost 30 years in prison for a robbery and rape he did not commit.
Muriel has successfully assisted registered investment advisors, accounting firms, hedge funds and broker-dealers in matters involving enforcement and examination efforts by regulators, including the DOJ, SEC, PCAOB, and AICPA.
